Our
History - Our Approach
In November 2003, Interquest Communications, a leading provider
of Broadband Internet services to the Multi-Family Real
Estate industry, announced its name change to "Ygnition
Networks". The change signals a departure from its
narrow focus on multifamily high-speed Internet service
to a wider focus, adding IP telephony, cable TV, and point-to-point
data and Internet circuits. This news came on the heels
of a major acquisition in July 2003, which tripled Ygnition‚s
size and scope, making it the largest private provider of
high-speed Internet services in the national apartment industry.
Recently named to Venture Reporter's "Top 100"
list of venture-funded companies in 2002, Ygnition was formed
by veterans of the multi-family broadband industry in 2001.
In conjunction with our Investment Partner, ComVentures
(www.comventures.com), Ygnition purchased network assets
from defunct broadband service providers Reflex Communications,
Darwin Networks and VelocityHSI. Through these acquisitions,
we began our operations with a footprint of approximately
50,000 deployed multi-family units in our operating markets:
Washington, California, Oregon, Texas, Colorado, Arizona
and Utah.
Each of our employees is
dedicated to providing the highest level of service, support,
and subscriber satisfaction in the business. We look forward
to partnering with like-minded real estate owners, developers,
and managers in our quest to achieve these goals.
Ygnition was created with the deep belief that residents
in high-end multi-family communities will be better served
with on-premise Broadband connectivity. An on-premise IP
solution allows for the highest levels of service and customer
satisfaction, including immediate installation for residents
entering their new home. Additionally, property owners and
managers benefit directly from Ygnition's services, through
co-marketing, complimentary leasing office connections (with
VPN capabilities) and ancillary revenue opportunities.
Ygnition and its senior management team focus exclusively
on superior subscriber service, sensible growth and operational
profitability. Any initiatives that do not contribute to
those areas are not, and will not be, considered by Ygnition.
