MAC OS 9 - Configuring your network settings
- Click on your Apple menu
- Drag pointer over the Control
Panels menu option
- Select TCP/IP menu option
(See Figure
1)
- In the Connect via drop down
box, select Ethernet
(See Figure
2)
- Under the Setup Configure
option, select Using DHCP Server
Note: The IP/Gateway
information (IP Address, Subnet mask, Router address,
and Name server addr.) will be provided automatically.
Note that Router address is also known as Gateway.
All this information will vary depending on the Apartment
complex.
- In the Search domains box,
enter "ygnition.com" (or leave blank)
- Click the close box icon in the upper
left corner of the window to close
- Click the Save option when
a dialog window asks if you want to save
